With the first puck drop of the 2010-11 season just 6 weeks away, the CSUN Ice Hockey team is setting their sights on another strong season. The Matadors will be having a pre-tryout skate Friday August 13 at 8:30 pm. The cost for the pre-tryout skate will be $20.00 per player. Two weeks later the Matadors will be having their tryouts for the 2010-11 season, starting Friday August 27 and Saturday August 28 at 8:30 pm. Both tryouts will be held at the Valley Ice Center. The cost of the tryout is $45. Players must bring their school ID and a copy of their class schedule. In addition players must bring full gear, (including a full cage, no half shields) and a white and dark jersey with numbers.

The team is planning on carrying 20-25 players for next season.
