The Cal. State Northridge Matadors swept another weekend defeating UC Irvine and Cal. State Long Beach on the road.

Check out the highlights from the game at Long Beach here.

On Friday the Matadors took on UC Irvine and assistant captain Anothony Kendryna scored an absurd 7 goals, followed by Chris Gale with 3, Voya Zlatanovic with 2 and Anthony Annese 1, to give the Matadors a 13-8 victory at KHS Ice Arena.

On Saturday against Long Beach State, Matadors goalie Ron Dierkes put on a show and turned away 31 shots in the Matadors 7-1 victory. Captain JP Gale got the Matadors on the board early with a deflection, followed by two goals from Anthony Kendryna. The 3rd period was all Chris Gale though, as the Matadors leading scorer netted 4 goals in twelve minutes to end any chance of a Long Beach rally.

Chris Gale and Anthony Kendryna now stand number one and two in ACHA Division III scoring. Come on out and see the dynamic duo this Saturday and watch the Matadors take on UC San Diego at 8:30 pm at the Valley Ice Center.
